One side of the Comfort Silkie is made of a silky polyester charmeuse satin. The other side is made from 100% cotton flannel. Measuring 14" x 18" and specifically sized for small hands, the Comfort Silkie is meant to comfort, not to cover baby.

The Comfort Silkie makes such a wonderful gift because of the fact that all babies have a natural inclination to anything silky. When doctors researched the reason for this natural inclination, they discovered that the "silky feeling" of satin is similar to the fluid sensation inside the womb.
